Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior .Net Developer at Diligent Global in Chennai (3 days a week office is mandatory currently). The Senior .Net Developer will be responsible for software development, .NET Core programming, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, SQL and object-oriented programming. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative software solutions.

SQL Server (schema design, complex queries, performance tuning)

Node.js (server-side / backend development exposure)

Telerik/Kendo UI components

HTTP Protocol (strong understanding)

Microsoft Azure (AKS, API Management, App Services, Key Vault, Service Bus, Application Insights, Azure Monitor)

Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines

DevSecOps (SAST, DAST, SonarQube, Snyk, secrets management, compliance-as-code)

Unit Testing (high coverage, secure coding practices)

AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Azure AI Services awareness)

System Design & Architecture (scalability, performance, security)

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance web applications in an Agile (Scrum) environment

Translate business requirements into technical design and development tasks

Deliver clean, maintainable, and secure code aligned with coding standards

Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and delivery

Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine user stories

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated DevSecOps practices

Optimize database structures, queries, and overall system performance

Troubleshoot and resolve issues across QA, UAT, and production environments

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the development lifecycle

(For Lead Role – Additional Responsibilities)

Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications

Own architecture decisions ensuring scalability, performance, and security

Architect and manage Azure cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability and cost optimization

Drive Agile ceremonies and oversee sprint execution

Mentor development teams and foster technical excellence

Act as a technical anchor and primary stakeholder interface

Drive continuous improvement and adoption of emerging technologies.
