Senior Full Stack Developer – SAP S/4HANA

This role is a senior hands-on engineering position focused on designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solutions across both backend and frontend layers. You will play a key role in building scalable, high-performance applications that support enterprise business processes and system integrations. The position requires strong technical depth in SAP development, combined with the ability to operate at an architectural level and drive solution design decisions. You will work across ABAP, CDS views, OData services, and SAP Fiori/UI5, ensuring seamless integration between backend logic and modern user interfaces. The role also involves guiding code quality, optimizing performance, and ensuring adherence to SAP clean core principles. This is a high-impact engineering role where ownership, problem-solving, and delivery excellence are essential in a global SAP environment.

Accountabilities

• Lead end-to-end development of SAP S/4HANA solutions across backend (ABAP, CDS, OData) and frontend (SAP Fiori/UI5) layers.
• Design, develop, and optimize ABAP-based applications including enhancements, BADIs, user exits, and performance tuning.
• Build and maintain CDS views (analytical and transactional) and develop OData services using SEGW or RAP frameworks.
• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using JavaScript, ensuring responsive and maintainable UI design.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services through OData and REST APIs.
• Work on system integrations using SAP CPI and other integration tools, resolving technical issues as needed.
• Perform code reviews for internal and vendor-developed solutions, ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and clean core principles.
• Identify and resolve performance issues, conduct debugging, and support system optimization efforts.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions to ensure scalable and future-ready solutions.
• Ensure high-quality delivery while driving remediation of technical gaps and maintaining development standards.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development including OOP, enhancements, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Expertise in CDS views, OData services (SEGW and/or RAP), and SAP backend development.
• Solid experience in JavaScript and SAP Fiori/UI5 application development.
• Proven ability to deliver end-to-end solutions covering both frontend and backend development.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA architecture and extensibility concepts.
• Familiarity with integration technologies such as SAP CPI, REST, and OData APIs.
• Experience in code reviews, technical governance, and vendor collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on performance and quality.
• Ability to work independently with ownership mindset and strong delivery focus.
• Good understanding of enterprise SAP environments and clean core principles.
