SoTrue is the first social OTT app that turns films and shows into swipeable, highly interactive, and gamified micro-dramas, and powers the world's first advertising engine built on emotional engagement.
Role Overview-
We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer who can own both front-end (iOS, Android, TV via React Native) and backend architecture, including database design and cloud deployments.
You will build the SoTrue app from the ground up, shape its performance and experience, and work closely with the AI/ML engineer to connect the automated creator pipeline into the app.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the SoTrue app on iOS, Android, and TV using React Native.
- Design and implement backend services (Node.js / Go / Python you choose).
- Create and maintain REST / GraphQL APIs for app and web integrations.
- Implement user authentication, reactions, comments, saves, and share flows.
- Integrate video playback with adaptive bitrate streaming (HLS / DASH).
- Setup and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS recommended): S3, CloudFront, RDS/PostgreSQL, MediaConvert, Lambda, ECS/Fargate.
- Work closely with the AI/ML engineer to integrate video slicing + metadata pipelines.
- Own deployments, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- 2+ years building production apps in React Native.
- Strong backend development experience (any of the stacks listed above).
- Comfort working with streaming media, file uploads, sockets, and caching.
- Experience working in startup or high-ownership environments.
