Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join the ExamRoom.AI engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, optimizing, and scaling secure, high-performance web applications and services used across our online examination and proctoring ecosystem.

The candidate should have strong expertise in both frontend and backend technologies, system architecture, cloud-native development, and production-grade deployments, along with the ability to collaborate across Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications for online assessment and proctoring platforms.

· Build responsive and high-performance frontend applications with strong focus on user experience and accessibility.

· Develop secure, optimized, and reusable backend APIs and microservices.

· Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning.

· Ensure application scalability, reliability, security, and performance across environments.

· Collaborate with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver sprint commitments.

· Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.

· Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring.

· Follow coding standards, secure development practices, and peer review processes.

· Mentor junior developers and support cross-team technical collaboration.

· Contribute to technical documentation, estimation, sprint planning, and backlog refinement activities.

Required Technical Skills

Frontend

· Angular, framework/library React.js, Vue.js.

· Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3

· State management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.)

· Responsive UI/UX implementation

· Component-based architecture

Backend

· .NET Core. and Node.js

· REST API and Microservices development

· Authentication & Authorization (JWT, OAuth, SSO)

· API security and performance optimization

Database

· Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server

· DB schema design, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning

Cloud & DevOps

· AWS / Azure / GCP experience

· CI/CD pipelines

· Docker & Kubernetes knowledge

· Git version control and branching strategies

· Monitoring & logging tools

Additional Preferred Skills

· Experience in Edu-Tech, Online Examination, or Proctoring platforms

· Knowledge of WebRTC, video streaming, or live monitoring systems

· Experience with scalable distributed systems

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

· Security and compliance awareness (PII, GDPR, SOC2, etc.)

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field

· 6+ years of experience in Full Stack Development

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

· Ability to work in fast-paced Agile environments
