Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Innovation

• Build, maintain, and enhance modern full stack web applications using React, Node.js, and associated libraries (e.g., react-router, ag-grid, vite, redux).
• Collaborate closely with the team to bring innovative features to life and optimize user experiences.

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

• Interact with AWS services including EC2 (Ubuntu), S3, and CloudFront.
• Perform tasks such as scripting, managing environment variables, updating packages, and handling security keys.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (experience with GitLab is a plus; strong git fundamentals are essential).
• Leverage Linux knowledge to support and streamline deployment workflows.

Database Development & Integration

• Design and manage database structures in Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex SQL queries and understanding execution plans.
• Integrate data layers using ORMs such as Sequelize.
• Work with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake (experience with Redshift or BigQuery also valuable).

Team Collaboration

• Participate in a remote-first, international team with clear, proactive communication.
• Attend daily standups at 11 AM EST and collaborate effectively across time zones.
• Understand both explicit instructions and the broader business goals behind your work.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in web-based development.
• Proven track record with open-source contributions or personal projects (GitHub portfolio encouraged).
• Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Proficiency with Express.js, Sequelize, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong experience with Linux, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in agile teams with modern DevOps practices.
• Native-level English fluency (spoken and written).
• Availability to work overlapping hours with EST/PST time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and debugging in production environments.
• Prior experience working in fully remote, multicultural teams.
