Senior Full Stack Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• As a full-stack developer, you would be responsible to drive technology delivery across cross-asset, cross-financial product implementation which are necessary for Sell and Buy side requirements of various institutional clients. You should work across other application/platform leads and business users, and trading desks to understand business vision and priorities, and help deliver cutting-edge technology by part in hands-on design and delivery of solutions. You must be highly proficient in building modern, scalable web applications and automation services, owning delivery from frontend visualization through to backend workflow implementation.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• You should have 6 to 7 years of relevant experience as a Full Stack Developer with Python and React JS, and you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery across four key project areas:

1. Develop Self-Service Operations & Toil Reduction Platform

Automation Engine: Develop a centralized self-service automation engine to automate day-to-day operational tasks.

Governed Workflows: Implement governed workflows for resource management (e.g., automated disk/DB snapshots, server restarts, log extraction pipelines) integrated with ITSM processes.

Secrets Lifecycle: Deliver full secrets management automation, including self-service key creation/rotation, integration with internal vaults, expiry scheduling, and non-compliance reporting.

2. Build a Solution for Application Onboarding & Developer Experience

Project Provisioning Pipeline: Design and implement a fully automated workflow for application intake, stakeholder review, and expedited GCP project creation.

Governance Attestation: Build and deploy self-attestation modules and an automated reminder system to streamline Operations Readiness Review (ORR) compliance.

3. Cost Management and Optimization

Financial Transparency: Build a robust chargeback system by developing resource utilization trackers, automated cost attribution reports, and app-code chargeback logic.

Budget Control: Implement self-service configuration for custom budget alerts, integrate with Google budget anomaly detection, and deploy automated breach notification workflows.

Optimization Tools: Surface cost optimization recommendations and integrate a service pack cost estimation tool for developers.

4. GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Dashboards

Compliance Dashboards: Develop centralized dashboards for Governance, Risk & Compliance, providing multi-level compliance status and security assessment visualization.

Risk Automation: Implement systems for security findings ingestion, CIS benchmark score integration, asset discovery, and vulnerability correlation.

Self-Certification: Build an online exemption request portal with automated approval workflows and complete audit trails.

Cloud Knowledge: Experience utilizing APIs and core services from major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Prior experience building internal enterprise portals or tools in a regulated industry (e.g., Finance).
