Role Overview
We are seeking a Frontend Engineer with strong production experience in React Native and React.js to build and enhance user interfaces for our platform (web) and mobile applications. You will be responsible for creating automated and personalized AI-powered experiences at scale, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and exceptional UX.
What You'll Do
- Build, maintain, and ship mobile applications using React Native (production apps for iOS & Android).
- Develop and maintain web features using React.js, ensuring a cohesive cross-platform experience.
- Collaborate with designers to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive UI/UX on both mobile and web.
- Optimize applications for performance, startup time, memory, and battery usage.
- Integrate with backend APIs, async flows, and offline/sync strategies.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code with strong test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor juniors, and enforce best practices.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds, automated testing, and app store releases.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in frontend and mobile development.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in frontend/mobile development with demonstrable, production-level React Native and React.js experience (must-have).
- Strong proficiency in React Native, React.js, and related ecosystems (navigation, native modules, bridges).
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Deep understanding of mobile & web UI/UX patterns and platform differences (iOS, Android, web browsers).
- Experience with native build systems (Xcode, Gradle) and deployment to App Store / Play Store.
- Familiarity with performance profiling, memory management, and debugging for mobile & web apps.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and offline-first architectures.
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD for mobile and web.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
Bonus Points
- Hands-on experience with React Native + Expo or advanced native module development.
- Experience building and maintaining complex projects in TypeScript.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Firebase) authentication, push notifications, storage.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Detox, Jest, React Testing Library).
- Experience leading a team or mentoring junior developers.
- Prior experience working in a full-stack environment is a plus.
