About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to elevate our frontend engineering ecosystem. You'll architect foundational systems, design reusable component libraries, and establish engineering excellence patterns that empower hundreds of engineers and serve millions of users worldwide.
This is a high-impact role where you'll shape the technical foundation that internal teams rely on daily while directly improving experiences for our global user base.
What You'll Do
- Build for Builders: Design and develop modular, well-documented SDKs and component libraries that serve both internal engineering teams and external developers, prioritizing usability, accessibility, performance, and cross-platform compatibility
- Architect Scalable Systems: Create extensible frontend architectures with clear boundaries, well-defined interfaces, and appropriate abstraction layers that balance customization with consistency
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Establish and champion architectural patterns that promote code quality, maintainability, and scalability across our entire frontend ecosystem
- Mentor & Influence: Lead through active participation in architectural decisions, mentorship of engineering teams, and creation of standards that become embedded in our culture and measurably improve outcomes
- Eliminate Technical Debt: Partner proactively with product and engineering stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and resolve technical debt through strategic refactoring, driving improved development velocity and platform reliability
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 8+ years of frontend software engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in code quality, performance optimization, and engineering excellence
- Deep understanding of modern web technologies and best practices (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, state management, testing frameworks, etc.)
- Proven experience designing and implementing maintainable, scalable frontend architectures for complex applications
- Track record of building component libraries and SDKs that are effectively reused across multiple systems
- History of raising the quality bar through both technical solutions and positive cultural impact
