- Proven, hands‑on experience as a Senior Frontend Developer, with Angular as the primary framework in enterprise‑scale applications.
- Strong expertise in modern Angular (v14 or later), including TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, and best‑practice frontend architecture.
- Demonstrated experience leading Angular version upgrades, including impact analysis, dependency management, remediation of breaking changes, regression testing, and production rollout.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and building responsive, accessible, and high‑quality user interfaces.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain new frontend user interfaces independently, from requirements or designs through to production.
- Experience translating UX/UI designs (e.g. Figma) into well‑structured, reusable Angular components while adhering to design systems and brand guidelines.
- Solid experience integrating frontend applications with .NET / ASP.NET Core REST APIs, including handling authentication, error scenarios, and API versioning.
- Good working knowledge of Azure‑hosted application environments, and how frontend applications interact with backend services deployed on Azure.
- Strong experience with Git‑based source control (e.g. Azure DevOps or GitHub), including pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications, including build, test, and deployment processes.
- Experience writing and maintaining frontend tests (unit and/or regression testing) to ensure application stability during enhancements and upgrades.
- Ability to work effectively as a solo frontend specialist, taking full ownership of frontend delivery, quality, and maintainability.
- Willingness and ability to use AI‑assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude) and modern design tools (e.g. Figma) to improve productivity while maintaining strong engineering judgement and code quality.
Desirable (Nice‑to‑Have)
- Experience with state management patterns or libraries (e.g. NgRx, ComponentStore) in complex Angular applications.
- Experience building or maintaining shared component libraries or design systems.
- Exposure to frontend performance optimisation techniques, including lazy loading, bundle analysis, and change‑detection optimisation.
- Deeper hands‑on experience with Azure services impacting frontend delivery, such as CDN configuration, authentication services, or environment configuration.
- Experience supporting frontend changes alongside backend (.NET) or platform lifecycle upgrades.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other developers and contributing to frontend standards and best practices within a team.
- Previous experience working in global or distributed teams and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders (UX, backend, architecture, business teams).
