Role Overview
Mihira Visual Labs is building a growing portfolio of AI-powered solutions and web applications that support our creative and production pipelines. We are looking for a
Senior Frontend Developer to work closely with the product team, taking ownership of the frontend architecture and user experience across multiple products. You will be responsible for translating complex AI/ML-driven workflows into intuitive, high-performance web interfaces, ensuring that our tools are as powerful to use as the technology behind them.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the frontend development across the product team's portfolio of web applications and internal tools
- Design and build responsive, performant, and scalable user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks (React/Next.js or equivalent)
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and ML/AI researchers to deliver cohesive product experiences
- Integrate frontend systems with AI/ML backends, including Generative AI model APIs, inference pipelines, and real-time data streams
- Build interactive interfaces for GenAI workflows — such as prompt-based generation tools, model output visualization, and iterative feedback loops
- Champion frontend best practices including component architecture, state management, testing, and performance optimization
- Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend web development with a strong portfolio of shipped products
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks, particularly React.js or Next.js
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (Equivalent practical experience will also be considered)
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and familiarity with how Generative AI models (LLMs, diffusion models, etc.) work at a product level
- Experience integrating frontend applications with AI/ML APIs and services (e.g., REST/gRPC endpoints serving model inference)
- Proficient with modern styling systems (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or Styled Components) and responsive design principles
- Solid grasp of state management patterns, asynchronous data handling, and real-time communication (WebSockets, SSE)
- Strong understanding of version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack)
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience building interfaces for GenAI-powered products (e.g., chat interfaces, image generation tools, annotation/feedback UIs)
- Familiarity with ML/AI frameworks or platforms (such as Hugging Face, LangChain, or ComfyUI) at an integration level
- Experience with real-time collaboration features, streaming responses, or event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of WebGL, Three.js, or React Three Fiber for 3D/visual web experiences
- Exposure to Python scripting for prototyping or interfacing with AI/ML pipelines
- Experience working in creative technology, media, or VFX-adjacent product teams
