Responsibilities
You are responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of our existing frontend applications. You will ensure that our user interfaces are modern, performant, and user-friendly. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, backend colleagues, and other stakeholders, contributing your expertise to actively advance our frontend architecture, toolchains, and development processes.
- Design and implementation of modern web applications for controlling and monitoring industrial machinery and equipment
- Active participation in an agile software development process in close collaboration with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and related departments
- Planning and implementation of web-based projects, APIs, and web services, as well as ensuring their quality and performance through regular code reviews and testing
- Contributing to the design and optimization of existing user interfaces (UI/UX)
- Providing second-level support for our global external and internal customer base
Organizational Structure: This position is within the Software Engineering department and reports directly to the Head of Application Engineering.
Team Size: You will work in a growing team of currently 12 developers. The mix of specialized frontend and backend experts, as well as full-stack AI specialists, provides you with a strong professional environment characterized by extensive collaboration and mutual support.
International Connections: Due to our company's global reach, you will regularly interact with international locations, particularly with our teams in Europe and beyond. Many projects are carried out in intercultural, cross-location teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Relevant experience as a Frontend Developer (m/f/d).
- Strong expertise in the design and implementation of modern SPAs with Angular, TypeScript and SCSS.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration into frontend applications.
- Basic knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft Azure is desirable.
- Enjoyment of conceptual work and enthusiasm for innovative technologies in mechanical and plant engineering.
