We are hiring Senior Firmware Engineers If you are passionate about the Firmware and Embedded Software Development and testing in the battery management system, we invite you to join us and play a key role in developing advanced systems for automotive applications.
Open Position:
- Senior Firmware Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Understand system/functional requirements and collaborate with Firmware Architect/Lead to break them down into software requirements
- Create high-level and low-level implementation design documentation
- Implement software in C (including device drivers, middleware, and application software)
- Test software implementations against requirements using tools and Python-based emulators
- Evaluate third-party software and debug field issues
- Provide active support during software releases and deployment
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to software standards
- Collaborate with hardware, testing, and other teams to ensure seamless integration
- Take ownership of firmware development and lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Senior Firmware Engineer:
- 3.5-7+ years of experience in core embedded systems development.
- Strong understanding of embedded controllers and their architecture (e.g., DSPIC, STM, TI, Atmel)
- Expertise in C programming with experience in working on large codebases
- In-depth knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, PWM, Input Capture,etc.
- Proficiency in Embedded RTOS and real-time systems development.
- Experience with automotive systems and protocols (AUTOSAR, ISO 26262) is highly desirable.
- Entry-level experience with Python programming.
- Proficient in using version control systems (preferably Git)
- Expertise with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators) for testing/debugging.
Qualifications:
For All Levels:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or similar degree from a reputable institution, or equivalent professional experience.
