SENIOR FIRMWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
THE ROLE:
AMD S3 firmware team works with the world's leading companies for their customized products. As a firmware engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and validating embedded firmware that comply with IP requirements. You will be working with global pre-silicon and post-silicon teams across Software development, SoC design/verification, emulation and validation teams.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering and possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated design challenges and issues to good quality resolution. He/She should be able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop features and enhancements within pre & post silicon environments.
Triage, analyze, debug and fix sophisticated issues and drive the resolution to closure.
Develops and execute test plans to evaluate functionality, security, and efficiency of firmware utilizing emulation and evaluation boards for pre-silicon and post silicon testing.
Plan, track and deliver all firmware deliverables.
Work closely with needed key stakeholders for efficient feature implementation and issue resolution and be responsible for the commitments.

Participating in new ASIC and hardware bring ups.
Develop technical relationships with peers and partners.
