We are seeking a Senior Firmware Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing firmware for embedded systems, and will play a crucial role in the integration of firmware with hardware components. This position requires strong technical skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality firmware solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with hardware components
- Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues
- Write and maintain documentation for firmware development processes
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to design decisions
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in firmware development
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 7-10 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
- Experience with embedded hardware and microcontrollers
- Familiarity with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems)
- Strong understanding of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.)
- Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
