About the Position

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support our cost accounting, variance analysis, and standard costing activities, while also contributing to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity, improve cost efficiencies, and support the overall financial health of the organization. This role will involve analyzing variances, identifying cost drivers, and supporting strategic financial decision-making, with a key focus on integrating financial insights into the S&OP process to ensure effective supply chain and demand planning.

Job Requirements and Required Skills:

  • Standard Costing: Develop and maintain cost models for materials, labor, and overhead. Update cost rates based on efficiency, market changes, and supplier pricing.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyze monthly/quarterly cost variances, identify issues, and collaborate with teams for corrective actions. Report insights to senior management.
  • Cost Accounting: Track and analyze departmental costs, ensure accurate allocations, and assist with inventory valuation and reconciliation.
  • S&OP: Provide financial insights for demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory management. Collaborate with teams to align financial and operational goals and analyze cost impacts of production changes.
  • Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Support forecasting and budgeting with cost trend analysis. Assist in financial modeling for product launches and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work with cross-functional teams on cost optimization and provide financial guidance for pricing, margin analysis, and decision-making.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform financial analysis for special projects and RnD Efforts
  • Market Research & Analysis : Ability to conduct market research to gather insights on industry trends, competitor pricing, and market conditions.

Skillsets:

  • MBA with 4-5 Years of Experience in the FP&A Role
  • Experience in the diagnostics business is preferable
  • Experience implementing automations in the FP&A Processes is good to have
