Skill - Financial reporting + private equity
Key responsibilities:
- Candidate should be Private equity finance SME and he/she should have worked exposure in the PE sector.
- Execute the following Finance Private Equity solutions using Global service delivery framework:
- GL/GAAP accounting entries
- Stat entries GAAP & Non-GAAP
- Preparing flux files
- BEA filing
- NonGAAP Accrual Analysis
- NonGAAP P&L Analysis
- GAAP consolidation analysis
- Daily base to source reconciliation reviews
- Market/FX Sensitivity Calculation
- Unfunded Commitment schedule
- Tie outs, footing, comparing to historical (esp. in Workiva)
- Parent Only balance sheet assistance (Balance Sheet rolls)
- Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards and firm policies and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations.
- Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion and manage expectations regarding the timing of deliverables and reports.
- Identify engagement and client service issues.
- Benchmark client financial data to industry data to make possible recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations that may impact the fund's operations.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel as needed and Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Manager and Senior leaders.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Good understanding of Private Equity Finance and Accounting operations
- candidates from a consulting background in PE finance would be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of ledger/subledger and financial ERPs.
- Technical accounting research and advice on potential accounting challenges for Private Equity clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with investors and senior management.
