Role Description

To lead and manage monthly retainer clients by ensuring high-quality financial operations, reporting, and insights. The consultant will be the primary point of contact for selected clients and drive execution under the VCFO model.

Qualifications

- Manage 24 VCFO clients independently

- Lead month-end closure, compliance tracking, and MIS delivery

- Prepare financial analysis: variance analysis, KPIs, cash flow insights

- Identify operational inefficiencies and propose process improvements

- Coordinate with external accountants and internal analyst

- Support the founder in building business strategy recommendations

- Conduct client calls, presentations, and review meetings

- Track deliverables and deadlines across clients

- Maintain strong communication and structured documentation

Requirements:

- MBA Finance / CA Inter / CA Dropout / B.Com + relevant exp

- 25 years experience in finance, consulting, FP&A, or startup operations

- Strong financial understanding and analytical skills

- Excellent communication & client management

- Ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously

- Experience working with founders or fast-paced startup environments

Preferred Skills:

- Good command over Excel & financial modelling

- Understanding of compliance (GST, TDS, ROC)

- Experience with Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks

- Ability to create dashboards & management presentations

- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
