Role Description The Senior Financial Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun, responsible for overseeing financial accounting and reporting activities. This role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger entries, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and organizational policies. The Senior Financial Accountant will analyze financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flows, and provide insights to management for decision-making. Day-to-day tasks also involve managing accounting software, reconciling accounts, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting with audits and regulatory filings.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Finance and Financial Reporting to oversee accurate and timely financial records and reports.
- Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software and related tools to manage accounting processes and maintain data integrity.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in senior-level accounting or finance roles, strong understanding of Indian taxation and regulatory requirements, and familiarity with audit processes.
