Title: Accounts & Finance Manager

Role & Responsibilities

- Day-to-day accounts management, vendor payments, and other banking-related jobs

- Manage expenses for each account, receivables, and payables, and maintain track records for the same

- Support the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements for management review

- Compile, analyze, and interpret financial data for decision-making

- Develop and maintain management reports and dashboards

- Maintain and handle relations with the company's overseas investors and prepare pitch decks and documents as required

- Assist in implementing and monitoring internal financial controls

- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

- Support payroll, VAT, and statutory compliance

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities

- Monitor financial performance, including revenues, expenses, and variances

- Support working capital and cash flow management

- Support management for discussions with bankers and investors for continued raising of funds for ongoing projects and activities

- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

- Understand financial products from shipping finance companies and assist clients/partners with document flow and preparation

- Support cost control

- Support financial planning for short-term and long-term business objectives

- Provide financial insights to improve operational and departmental efficiency

- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including auditors and banks

- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior accountants and finance staff to improve their technical knowledge, productivity, and professional development

- Assist the company in portfolio merger and acquisition processes for financial decisions

Qualification and Education Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's preferred

- Professional certification (ACCA/CPA/CA/CMA) preferred or in progress

- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or a supervisory finance role

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations

- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, risk management, investor pitch deck preparation, and reporting

- Proficient in financial systems and advanced MS Excel

- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities

- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to meet strict deadlines
