About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, business partnering, and P&L management. The role requires strong financial acumen, commercial understanding, and the ability to drive profitability through data-driven insights and financial controls.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, compliance, and end-to-end Profit & Loss (P&L) ownership.

Key Responsibilities

A. P&L Management

• Own and manage the complete Profit & Loss (P&L) statement for the business/unit.
• Monitor revenue, gross margins, operating expenses, EBITDA, and profitability metrics.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Identify revenue growth opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and profitability.

B. Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Develop financial models to support strategic business decisions.
• Analyze financial trends, KPIs, and business performance indicators.
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

C. Business Partnering

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR, and Procurement teams to support business objectives.
• Evaluate investment proposals, pricing strategies, and business cases.
• Support new business initiatives, expansion plans, and strategic projects.

D. Financial Reporting

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Prepare management reports, board presentations, and financial dashboards.
• Drive reporting automation and MIS enhancements.

E. Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Manage internal controls, audits, and risk management processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

F. Leadership

• Lead and mentor finance team members.
• Establish performance goals and development plans.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Business Finance.
• Proven experience managing P&L responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance management.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Financial Modeling)
• ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.)
• Financial Planning & Reporting Tools
• Power BI / Tableau (preferred)
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
