Senior Finance Manager

The Association of People with Disability (APD), India is a Bengaluru-based non-governmental organization established in 1959, dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged individuals with disabilities. APD runs extensive programs in both urban and rural Karnataka, supporting children and adults with various disabilities, including locomotor, spinal cord injury, speech and hearing, cerebral palsy, and some mental health conditions. Over the years, APD has positively impacted the lives of over 1 million individuals through its holistic lifecycle approach, which includes early intervention, education, livelihood development, rehabilitation, and capacity building. The organization collaborates with governments, corporates, NGOs, and other entities to enhance program reach and influence policies to benefit people with disabilities.

The Senior Finance Manager will lead financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective budget management. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing budgets, overseeing audits, analyzing financial data for decision-making, and developing financial strategies. The role also involves mentoring the finance team and contributing to the organization's long-term financial sustainability and growth. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

• Proven expertise in Financial Planning, Budget Management, and Financial Reporting
• Strong skills in Risk Assessment, Compliance Management, and Auditing
• Proficiency in Accounting Software, Financial Forecasting, and Data Analysis
• Leadership and team management skills with effective decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Prior experience in the non-profit sector or social service organizations is a plus
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar fields
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and align with the organization's mission
