Job Description
Specific to:
Intercompany Accounting (ICO / ICOY)
- Own and review intercompany accounting activities, including recharges, allocations, settlements, and eliminations.
- Perform and oversee intercompany reconciliations across entities, investigating and resolving mismatches within close timelines.
- Support period‑end intercompany accruals, reclassifications, and eliminations, ensuring balances are accurate and explained.
- Coordinate with counterparty finance teams (onshore/offshore) to resolve timing, pricing, and posting discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with group policies, transfer pricing principles, and accounting standards preferably IFRS.
- Act as the go‑to SME during critical close windows, troubleshooting ICO issues and guiding the team to resolution.
Systems & Tools
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle (or similar ERP).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivots, Power Query basics, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, reconciliation models).
- Ability to analyse large data sets and troubleshoot system vs sub‑ledger mismatches.
Leadership & Stakeholder Skills
- Ability to lead, guide, and coach team members, especially during peak close periods.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident engaging senior stakeholders.
- Calm and effective under high‑pressure close timelines.
Qualification & Skills:
- Finance Graduate, with professional qualification (CA, MBA - Finance)
- 10-12 years of hands-on core FP&A/ICOY experience with at least 2-3 years in supervisory capacity in leading team
- Hand on experience of Finance , Planning & Analysis processes and ICOY process as well.
- Sound understanding of business context with ability to visualize broad picture
- Problem solving and analytical skills with eye for detail
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Strong communication & presentation skills
