Position Overview

This role owns the financial control function for the company's global operations, with full visibility into all revenue and spend across geographies. As an individual contributor based in Bangalore, the incumbent works directly with business unit heads, delivery leads, and regional stakeholders to drive reporting accuracy, enforce financial discipline, and surface performance insights to senior leadership. The role requires cross-timezone availability and the maturity to function as a near-independent finance lead for a fast-scaling IT services firm.

Role & Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end financial control: monitor all global revenue recognition, cost centers, and P&L lines across the company's seven offices
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analyses to leadership
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial planning cycles in coordination with business unit heads and delivery leads
• Identify and close gaps in financial processes; drive continuous improvement across AR, AP, payroll, and intercompany reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP) and statutory requirements across all operating geographies
• Manage internal, statutory, and tax audits — coordinating directly with external auditors and legal counsel without a team buffer
• Coordinate with business stakeholders across time zones (India, Americas, Africa, Europe, LATAM) to maintain reporting cadence and financial hygiene

Must Have Criteria

• CA Inter (both groups cleared) or CA Final Passed — candidates who did not complete CA Final are acceptable with commensurate experience
• 5–10 years of post-qualification experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a middle-management or independent finance role
• Prior experience owning an independent or near-independent finance function for a company with revenue of ₹200 Cr or above
• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, MIS, budgeting, and variance analysis — not limited to support or advisory roles
• Prior exposure to an IT services or technology company's finance function (project-based revenue, multi-currency, cross-border billing)
• Demonstrated ability to manage finance operations across multiple geographies and time zones as a sole finance owner
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel-based financial modeling

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting a PE-backed or high-growth private firm through a scaling phase
• Familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS in addition to Ind AS, given the company's US-headquartered structure
• Prior exposure to intercompany transfer pricing and cross-border statutory compliance
• Working knowledge of mid-market ERP platforms such as NetSuite or QuickBooks
