Key Responsibilities
Finance Team Management & Stakeholder Liaison
- Manage, mentor, and build the capacity of the Finance team.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with partner organizations, funding partners, auditors, banks, and statutory consultants (CS, ESIC, PF).
- Serve as the single point of contact for finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal departments such as leadership, HR, Funding, Communications, and Program teams.
- Review government tenders from compliance and implementation perspectives.
Program Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare organizational budgets in collaboration with relevant team members and track expenditure versus budgets.
- Review donor utilization reports, track over/under-utilization of funds, and optimize fund usage.
- Evaluate donor proposals from a financial perspective.
- Monitor cash flows and prepare quarterly MIS and financial reports.
- Conduct quarterly reviews with project leaders on fund utilization.
- Develop and update SOPs to streamline financial processes.
- Authorize expenses in line with approved budgets.
Compliance & Financial Reporting
- Oversee statutory compliance including FCRA, TDS, PT, IT, GST, PF, and ESIC, with support from the Accounts Manager.
- Review monthly payroll and company financial statements.
- Oversee internal and external audits, including donor audits, with the Accounts Manager.
- Prepare quarterly board reports and other periodic financial reports.
- Set up Finance Management systems in new locations as iTeach expands.
- Continuously refine program accounting and reporting systems.
