Job Description

The Senior Finance Manager will provide strategic financial leadership and oversee the overall financial governance of the organization. This role will supervise the Finance Team and ensure robust financial systems, compliance, internal controls, and strategic financial planning aligned with the company's growth

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Develop and implement long-term financial strategy.
  • Advise the leadership team on financial planning and risk management.
  • Drive profitability improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Lead financial planning for expansion, new verticals, and capital investments.
  • Oversight of Accounts & Finance Operations
  • Supervise the Finance Team and ensure smooth execution of accounting functions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely accounting in Zoho Books / ERP systems.
  • Review monthly books before finalization.
  • Approve major financial transactions and fund allocations.
  • Ensure strong internal financial controls across departments.
  • Budgeting & Financial Planning
  • Approve and consolidate departmental budgets.
  • Monitor budget vs actual variance at organizational level.
  • Oversee fund flow planning and working capital management.
  • Optimize resource allocation across projects and business units.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Governance
  • Ensure 100% compliance for:
    • GST
    • TDS
    • Income Tax
    • PF & ESI
    • Companies Act
  • Review and sign off on statutory filings before submission.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors.
  • Strengthen compliance framework to avoid penalties and risks.
  • Financial Reporting & Executive MIS
  • Review and present:
    • Balance Sheet
    • P&L Statement
    • Cash Flow Statement
    • Project Profitability Reports
  • Develop advanced MIS dashboards for management.
  • Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
  • Project & Manufacturing Finance Oversight
  • Monitor project-wise revenue recognition and cost tracking.
  • Oversee inventory valuation and stock verification controls.
  • Supervise capex planning and asset management.
  • Evaluate unit economics for manufacturing operations.
  • Risk Management & Internal Audit
  • Design and implement financial control policies.
  • Conduct periodic financial risk assessments.
  • Oversee internal audits and corrective action planning.
  • Strengthen documentation and audit readiness processes.
  • Banking & Treasury Management
  • Manage banking relationships and financial structuring.
  • Oversee loan management, BGs, LC, EMD, and working capital limits.
  • Ensure optimal cash flow planning and liquidity management.
Education

Qualification & Experience

  • CA / CMA (Preferred) / CA Inter

Experience

  • 812+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts
  • Minimum 35 years in senior managerial role
  • Experience in the manufacturing / robotics / engineering industry is an added advantage
