We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial reporting and accounting operations in India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, regulatory compliance, and team leadership. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution to support the company's growth and long-term financial stability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, and all local statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external accounting partners and manage relationships with auditors and tax consultants.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Administration, HR) to support business operations.
- Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital.
- Manage banking relationships and oversee treasury-related activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and accountability.
- Perform ad-hoc duties and support special projects as required.
Reporting
- Reports to the Controller based in Singapore.
Requirements
- CA, CPA, or equivalent accounting qualification/degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and global reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience with SAP.
