Senior Finance Manager (FP&A Business partnering + Audit)
About Our Client
Our client is a leading US MNC operating in the healthcare and medical technology sector, with a strong presence across global markets. As part of their continued growth in the India and West Asia region, they are looking to hire an experienced Finance Controller to join their leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to lead the finance function, partner closely with business leaders, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive strategic financial performance while supporting the organization's continued growth and operational excellence.
You will be reporting to the GM – Emerging Asia and the Regional CFO based in Singapore, your key responsibilities will include:
- General accounting, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close, journal entry and account reconciliation reviews, compliance with US GAAP, Ind AS, corporate accounting policies, and SOX requirements.
- Tax management, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax return filings, transfer pricing, statutory and tax audit support, tax assessments, and compliance with corporate tax policies.
- Treasury management, including cash flow monitoring, bank guarantee administration, wire transfer approvals, banking operations, and daily cash management.
- Payroll management, including payroll review and approval, employee benefits administration, Provident Fund (PF) compliance, and ensuring adherence to changing payroll and tax regulations.
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management, including supplier invoice approvals, employee reimbursements, payment processing, customer credit management, ageing analysis, collections, and ledger closures in TCS iON.
- Financial reporting, including statutory financial statements, audit management, budgeting, forecasting, monthly sales revenue analysis, financial analytics, and business performance reporting.
- Team leadership and people management, overseeing a team of one Assistant Manager, one Senior Accountant, and one Accountant, including performance management, capability development, appraisals, and coaching.
- Commercial and business support, providing financial analysis, accounting support, operational guidance, and supporting strategic initiatives, including setting up representative offices and warehousing facilities across the India region.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally possess the following traits:
- 12 + years of experience as a Finance Manager (FM), Senior Finance Manager (SFM), or Financial Controller (FC), preferably within a multinational organization.
- Bachelor's degree, major in Finance or Accounting.
- Accounting qualifications. Professional certification is required.
- Understanding of India and US GAAP accounting process and policies, account reconciliation experience, general ledger and monthly closing experience
- Financial Controller experience in a multi-national (medical device, healthcare services or manufacturing company preferred)
- Minimum 5-7 years supervisory experience.
- Hands-on experience managing a team of 3–5 members.
Work Arrangement & Location
- Hybrid work model: 3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home.
- Office Location: Thane, Mumbai.
