Senior Finance Manager (Finance, Export Documentation & Logistics)

ROLE OVERVIEW

Lead the finance and accounting function while heading the Export Documentation and Logistics teams. Ensure sound financial management, statutory compliance and accurate, timely documentation to support efficient international shipments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Finance & Accounting - Oversee daily accounting, month-end closing and financial reporting. Manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning.

• Taxation & Statutory Compliance - Ensure timely tax filings and statutory compliance. Coordinate with auditors and maintain accurate records for audits and reviews.

• Banking & Treasury - Manage receivables, payables, banking relationships and working capital. Coordinate with banks on payments, export proceeds and related documentation.

• Cost Control & Business Analysis - Monitor costs, analyse budget variances and business performance, and provide actionable insights to management. Strengthen financial controls and process efficiency.

• Export Documentation & Logistics Leadership - Lead the export documentation department and logistics team. Oversee accurate, timely preparation and submission of import/export documents, customs compliance and shipment coordination with freight forwarders and customs agents.

• Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Lead, mentor and develop the Finance, Export Documentation and Logistics teams. Work with production, merchandising and other departments to align shipment schedules, documentation and financial requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or an equivalent qualification.

• 8-12 years of finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or export-oriented business.

• Experience in logistics, export documentation and international shipping is preferred.

• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
