SOLARA is a fast growing D2C brand based out of Hyderabad. We are looking for a Finance Lead who understands that Reconciliation is Revenue. You will own the financial backbone of the company, ensuring that every rupee shipped is a rupee collected.
1. The Reconciliation Engine (Primary Focus)
- Marketplace Settlements: Reconcile Amazon & Flipkart settlement reports against orders. Identify leakages in Referral Fees, Closing Fees, and Weight Handling Charges.
- D2C Gateway Reco: Match Shopify sales with Razorpay/Simpl/Cashfree settlements. Ensure COD remittances from courier partners (Shiprocket/Pickrr) match the delivered orders.
- Logistics Audit: Verify courier invoices against actual weight vs. volumetric weight to prevent overcharging.
2. Financial Control & P&L Ownership
- Prepare the Monthly MIS with a sharp focus on Unit Economics (CM1, CM2, EBITDA).
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping (Zoho Books/Tally) and ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, TCS for E-commerce).
- Handle cash flow planning and working capital management (Inventory planning vs. Vendor payments).
3. Strategic Finance
- Work with Founders to plan the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Track inventory aging and inventory turnover ratios to prevent capital blockage.
Requirements: - Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred, or MBA Finance from a top tier institute.
- Experience: 5-7+ years total, with min. 3 years in a D2C Brand, E-commerce aggregator, or Retail startup.
- Tech Stack: You are an Excel Wizard (Power Query/Pivot Tables). Experience with Shopify and Tally.
- The Mindset: You know that Return to Origin (RTO) affects the bottom line and you know how to calculate the true Landed Cost of an imported product.
