Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Oversee and maintain accounting systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards
- Finalize financial statements and manage audits across multiple entities/structures
- Implement and monitor budget control processes in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Develop and deliver MIS reports in a timely manner to track financial and business performance
- Prepare and manage cash flow statements (current and forecast), including working capital optimization
- Maintain control over banking operations, including fund management and relationships with financial institutions
- Ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards
- Drive performance measurement and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Manage taxation matters through tax resources, including Income Tax, GST, tax planning, and regulatory updates
- Identify tax optimization opportunities and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and structures
- Collaborate with finance teams of portfolio companies for due diligence, reporting, and advisory support
- Liaise with auditors for half-yearly and annual audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance
- Coordinate with tax authorities, accounting regulators, and other regulatory bodies as required
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to auditors, trustees, shareholders, and stakeholders
- Conduct internal checks and testing to validate financial data, systems, and controls
- Negotiate commercial and financial terms with suppliers to optimize costs and efficiency
- Work closely with internal teams to improve departmental processes and overall operational efficiency
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned based on evolving business needs.
