Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-driven Senior Associate Accounts & Finance to join our lean finance team. The ideal candidate will own end-to-end accounting entries, statutory compliance (TDS & GST), payment processing, and reconciliations. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and play a key role in our finance automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record and maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Zoho Books accurately and on time
- Ensure proper categorisation of revenues, expenses, and partner payouts
- Maintain chart of accounts and support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and post journal entries including accruals and adjustments
Reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliation between Zoho Books and bank statements on a regular basis
- Reconcile lender collections with internal loan management system
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in partner payouts and commission settlements
- Support accounts payable and receivable reconciliations
Payment File Preparation
- Prepare vendor and partner payment files with accuracy and timely processing
- Coordinate with operations for invoice verification before payment release
TDS Compliance
- Identify applicable TDS sections for each vendor and service category
- Deduct TDS at the time of payment/booking and ensure timely deposit with the government
Reporting & MIS
- Assist in monthly MIS and P&L preparation using Excel and Zoho Books reports
- Maintain lender-wise payout and collection trackers in Google Sheets / Excel
- Support finance automation initiatives and process improvement projects

Qualifications & Experience
- B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) from a recognised university mandatory
- CA Intermediate (both groups cleared preferred) mandatory
- 23 years of hands-on experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and reconciliation
- Prior experience in a fintech, NBFC, or financial services firm is an advantage
- Familiarity with multi-lender or multi-entity accounting environments preferred
