THE ROLE

You will own the finance relationship for a portfolio of client accounts. That means their receivables, their payroll accuracy, and their confidence in us. You will work directly with clients finance and HR teams, and with our own AI agents, to make sure invoices go out correctly, payments come in on time, and every payroll change a client requests is reflected accurately.

This is a client-facing role. You will be the person clients email, call and rely on for anything money-related.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Accounts receivable

- Own invoicing, collections and receivables for your allocated client accounts, including multi-currency (USD, EUR and others) billing.

- Follow up on overdue payments with clarity and persistence while keeping the client relationship strong.

- Reconcile receipts against invoices, resolve mismatches, and track FX differences.

- Maintain an accurate, current view of outstanding balances for each account.

Payroll

- Reconcile every payroll change requested by clients — new joiners, exits, revisions, bonuses, reimbursements, deductions — and confirm it is reflected correctly before payroll runs.

- Review payroll outputs generated by our platform and catch errors before they reach the client or the employee.

- Ensure statutory compliance for your accounts: PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS calculations, filings and challans.

Month-end and reporting

- Complete month-end reconciliation of payroll and receivables for your accounts.

- Prepare clear, accurate reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

Accuracy and process improvement

- Hold a very high accuracy bar. Find the root cause of every error, not just the fix.

- Work with our product and AI teams to improve the agents and workflows you use every day: flag gaps, define rules, test changes, and remove manual steps.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable management and payroll processing, ideally with direct client interaction.

- Working knowledge of Indian payroll and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS).

- Exceptional written and spoken communication. You can explain a payroll variance or a pending invoice to a client's CFO clearly and confidently.

- A consistent record of high accuracy — in your academics, professional exams and past work.

- A demonstrated interest in technology products, especially AI. You have built, automated or improved something with tools, not just used them.

- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being built.

Good to have

- CA Inter, CMA or ACCA (cleared or in progress).

- Experience with multi-currency invoicing and international clients.

- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books, payroll software, spreadsheets at an advanced level, or AI tools.
