Job Title: Senior FI Risk Analyst
Department: Wholesale Banking Risk

Reporting To: Head - FI Risk & Industry Research
Job Purpose:
To manage the Bank's credit portfolio of financial institutions (NBFCs, MFIs, Domestic & Foreign Banks, Brokers, Mutual Funds), including credit appraisal, portfolio monitoring, and risk mitigation. The role requires strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit appraisal for financial institutions in line with organizational policies.
- Evaluate and recommend exposure levels, collateral, and guarantees for banking/treasury products.
- Review and ensure adherence to rating methodologies and risk classification frameworks.
- Manage credit risk across wholesale banking products and transactions.
- Engage with clients for risk assessment and transaction execution.
- Align business partner expectations with the firm's risk appetite.
- Facilitate portfolio reviews and recommend risk mitigation actions.
- Identify and escalate emerging risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Interact with regulators for credit risk management.
- Maintain a healthy portfolio with minimal NPAs.
- Monitor portfolio performance, trigger reviews, and control delinquencies.
- Share best practices within the team.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Network with peers, rating agencies, and industry participants to stay updated on trends.
- Support team with deliverables and ad hoc MIS reports.
- Recommend process and policy improvements for operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage synergies.
Education & Experience:
- Education:
- Graduate (Any discipline; CA preferred) – Full Time
- Postgraduate (Any discipline; MBA preferred) – Full Time
- Experience:
- 5 to 8 years in BFSI sector, specifically in Wholesale Banking Risk
- Suitable for Manager, Chief Manager, or AVP level
