Job Description: Senior Fashion Designer (Streetwear)
Function: Design & Creative

Role Objective
The Senior Fashion Designer is responsible for creating commercially successful, brand-aligned streetwear collections that strengthen Bene Kleed's identity, deliver strong sell-through, and define the creative direction of the brand.
This role combines creative leadership, commercial thinking, and execution discipline, with ownership from concept to post-launch learnings.
Key Responsibilities (As per KRAs)
1. Collection Design & Creative Direction
Design and deliver multiple seasonal collections annually in line with brand calendars.
Develop clear creative themes, mood boards, and design narratives for every collection.
Ensure high design approval efficiency with minimal rework post-sampling
Maintain strong design intent from concept through final product.
2. Brand DNA & Streetwear Relevance
Ensure all designs strongly reflect Bene Kleed's brand DNA and streetwear positioning.
Avoid off-brand silhouettes, graphics, or design directions.
Conduct regular trend scans and translate trends into commercial, brand-relevant designs rather than direct copies.
Balance global streetwear influence with local relevance.
3. Commercial Performance & Sell-Through Ownership
Design with a clear understanding of pricing, target customer, and sell-through expectations.
Ensure collections achieve healthy sell-through and minimal slow-moving styles.
Participate in post-launch reviews to analyse design performance.
Document and apply design learnings to future collections.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Create clear, accurate, and complete tech packs with no ambiguity.
Work closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure smooth sampling and bulk execution.
Meet sampling and development timelines consistently.
Prevent production delays caused by unclear design inputs.
5. Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and mentor junior designers through regular design reviews.
Improve team capability through structured feedback and guidance.
Set creative standards and ensure consistency across the design team.
Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and brand ownership.
6. Innovation & Long-Term Creative Assets
Develop new silhouettes, graphics, or design languages that can become long-term brand assets.
Propose experimental capsules or limited drops to keep the brand creatively fresh.
Balance innovation with commercial viability.
Performance & Discipline Expectations
Strong ownership of timelines, approvals, and execution quality.
Minimal rework and clear accountability for design decisions.
No production delays caused by unclear or incomplete design inputs.
Continuous improvement through learning from commercial outcomes.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in streetwear design and fashion aesthetics.
Commercial understanding of D2C fashion, pricing, and sell-through.
Excellent ability to translate concepts into executable designs.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
Leadership and mentoring capability.
Proficiency in design tools and tech pack creation.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
610 years of experience in fashion or streetwear design.
Prior experience with D2C, streetwear, or youth-focused brands preferred.
