Job Description

Job Position: Senior Fashion Designer - Pink Fort

Location: Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon

Exp: 5 to 7 yrs

Who we are:

FS Life is a group of homegrown brands that are thoughtful, and relevant, and solve unmet apparel and lifestyle needs for modern Indian women. It was launched in September 2016 with FableStreet, a premium western wear brand focused on providing the best fit for Indian women and Pinkfort — an ethnic, Indo-western brand reimagining traditional clothing for the woman of today.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Fashion Designer to join Pink Fort, our ethnic and Indo-western wear brand. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end design process — from concept to final product — ensuring collections reflect the brand's identity, market trends, and consumer needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage junior designers, and bring creative excellence to every collection.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership: Create monthly Indo-Western collections by conceptualizing innovative ideas aligned with Pink Fort's brand vision.
  • Creative Development: Build Mood Boards, Color Boards, Storyboards, and Illustrations to present design concepts.
  • Product Execution: Oversee technical packs, print development, and sampling to ensure high-quality output.
  • Trend Forecasting: Continuously research global and Indian fashion trends to anticipate and adapt to market needs.
  • Business Impact: Identify key profit-driving styles and design strategies at the start of each season.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and manage vendor relationships for smooth execution.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor junior designers, ensuring timely delivery and design excellence.
  • Product Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of product development, fittings, silhouettes, pattern making, and garment construction.
  • Aesthetic Vision: Demonstrate exceptional design sensibility tailored to the modern Indian woman.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Fashion Design (preferably from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or equivalent institutes).
  • 5–7 years of experience in Indo-Western apparel design.
  • Proven track record of leading design projects and managing teams.
  • Prior experience with e-commerce platforms or leading Indian brands is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Indian design sensibilities, textiles, and market trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about innovation with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
