Roles & Responsibility:

Trend analysis and forecasts:keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes

Make story boards around concepts in trend&create mood boards to show to clients

Monthly Range Presentation

Sketch silhouettes and bring them to life.Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel, and write specifications such as colour schemes,construction, material types, and accessory requirements.

Select appropriate fabrics for silhouettes.

Work one-on-one with pattern master and tailor to get the fit right.understand design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs

Explore various genres of fashion.

Education and Experience

Bachelors In Fashion Design from a reputed college/university

Minimum 4 -6 years of experience of working in apparel export

Desired Skills

Proficient in: Adobe Photoshop, Corel draw, Adobe illustrator & Ned Graphics.
