Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Fashion Designer located in Ahmedabad. The Senior Fashion Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating innovative fashion collections, including designing and developing garments, ensuring quality and precision in fittings, and focusing on textiles and embroidery. The designer will work in collaboration with artisans to develop unique designs and oversee the entire creative process from concept to final product, while ensuring alignment with Kiaayo's brand values and commitment to conscious fashion.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Fashion Design with 3 year of experience and a strong understanding of fashion trends and garment construction
• Proficiency in Textiles and Embroidery techniques, with an appreciation for traditional craftsmanship
• Skills in Fitting and ensuring precision and quality in garment production
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and ability to innovate within the fashion industry
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills to work effectively with artisans and colleagues
• A degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in sustainable and conscious fashion is a plus
