Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced, commercially sharp Senior Fashion Designer to join SITU's growing team in Jaipur. This isn't a desk-and-mood-board role — you'll own the design process end to end, from trend research and concept to tech packs and final production sign-off. If you understand both the creative and the commercial side of fashion, can design for real Indian women across XS to 6XL, and thrive in a fast-moving D2C environment — we'd love to meet you.

Brand Description

We're a fast-growing Indian women's wear brand built around one idea — clothes that fit real women, in real sizes. From XS to 6XL, we design everyday tops, shirts, tunics, and pants that blend comfort with contemporary Indian sensibility. We sell D2C at situofficial.com and on Myntra, and we're scaling fast. If you want to build something meaningful in fashion — not just execute briefs — this is that role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop trend-forward collections aligned with fast fashion cycles
• Create commercially viable designs suitable for mass production and defined price points
• Build detailed tech packs with accurate specs for sampling and production
• Work closely with sampling, CAD, and production teams through the full product lifecycle
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for timely execution and quality control
• Lead print development, embroidery detailing, and surface design
• Select and finalize fabrics, trims, and materials within costing constraints
• Own sampling, fittings, and final production sign-offs

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in women's wear, fast fashion, or ethnic/fusion wear
• Strong understanding of fabric and garment construction, production processes, bulk manufacturing, and prints, embroidery & surface development
• Hands-on experience in tech pack creation and working with sampling & production teams
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or Photoshop
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to design within costing
• Based in Jaipur or willing to relocate — this is a full on-site role
• Strong communicator who can move fast without dropping the ball
