Senior Fashion Designer (Ethnic)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fashion Designer (Ethnic Wear) to lead our ethnic design division at our Jaipur facility. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for driving design innovation while ensuring commercial viability and production excellence.

The role involves creating distinctive ethnic wear collections, selecting appropriate textiles, developing detailed fitting specifications, and working closely with production and sampling teams, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all designs align with brand and buyer expectations.

• Design and develop ethnic wear collections in line with market trends and brand direction
• Select fabrics, trims, and embroidery techniques suitable for each design
• Oversee fittings, measurements, and technical specifications for production accuracy
• Collaborate closely with sampling, embroidery, and production teams
• Ensure timelines, quality standards, and cost parameters are met
• Guide and mentor junior designers, if applicable

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field (preferred)
• 510 years of hands-on experience in ethnic wear design
• Strong expertise in fashion design with a deep understanding of Indian ethnic wear trends
• Proficiency in working with textiles and developing designs across multiple fabric types
• Solid knowledge of embroidery techniques and detailed surface development
• Experience with garment fitting, measurements, and production-ready specifications
• High level of creativity, strong attention to detail, and ability to work to deadlines
