Senior Executive warehouse and logistics

Job Role:

• Design and spearhead the implementation of the overall supply chain strategy from first mile to last mile.

• Selection, negotiation, and empanelment of courier partners; assess regional strengths and calibrate shipment allocation accordingly.

• Conduct periodic performance reviews with vendors; improve or eliminate underperforming partners.

• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.

• Lead expansion of micro-warehousing and fulfillment centers across India to reduce delivery TAT, control pilferage, and minimize returns.

• Own stock replenishment planning, material procurement, and resolve weight and COD discrepancies to ensure a healthy P&L.

• Set up and manage a centralized control tower for order verification, NDR management, and customer support.

• Ensure operational hygiene through daily stock audits, zero dispatch breaches, 100% delivery attempts before EDD, ageing monitoring, and 100% fill rate.

• Design dashboards and ensure data accuracy to provide real-time visibility of key metrics to senior leadership.

• Build and lead a high-performance team focused on operational excellence.

• Manage ERP-based inventory management systems and maintain inventory accuracy across all warehouses.

• Oversee Unicity warehouse operations across India, including physical inventory management and stock control at warehouse level.

• Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including packing, dispatch, and process compliance.

• Take end-to-end responsibility for order fulfillment, delivery TAT, and overall logistics performance across India.

• Handle delivery-related customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.

• Coordinate with finance and vendors for seamless warehouse and logistics operations.

• Lead warehouse setup, transitions, and ensure operational readiness at new and existing locations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a D2C / B2C E-commerce environment or a logistics startup

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with the supply chain fraternity

• Previous experience of having worked with different courier partners and aggregators

• Strong excel and quant skills to do data analysis and draw meaningful insights

• Full professional proficiency in English,Kannada &Hindi. Limited/full working proficiency in regional languages is a plus

• Graduate degree with notable co-curricular achievements
