- Warehouse Operations
- Manage inward (receiving), storage, and outward (dispatch) activities
- Ensure proper handling, packing, and shipping of goods
- Plan warehouse layout and space utilization
- Inventory Management
- Maintain stock accuracy and records
- Perform cycle counts / stock audits
- Handle shortages, damages, and discrepancies
- Team Management
- Supervise warehouse staff and labor
- Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity
- Train employees on SOPs and safety practices
- Order & Dispatch Handling
- Ensure timely order processing and delivery
- Coordinate with logistics/transport partners
- Track shipments and solve dispatch issues
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of:
- Inventory
- Inward/outward goods
- Returns & damages
- Prepare MIS reports and performance reports
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety standards and warehouse rules
- Ensure proper storage conditions (FIFO/FEFO methods)
- Maintain cleanliness and security of warehouse
- Process Improvement
- Improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Implement better systems (ERP/WMS)
- Optimize workflow and operations
