Job objective

Domestic Rail/Road movement at DPMT includes ensuring smooth Rail/Road Operations in coordination with all the stakeholders viz. railways, transporter & all domestic end clients,
ensuring timely delivery, faster TAT of rakes and trailers for timely delivery of containers - last mile.
Inventory is to be maintained and ensure containers are loaded in sound conditions for outbound rakes within stipulated time.
Daily MIS to be prepared and sent to all stakeholders.
Responsibility for timely and faster evacuation of containers, Operation management,
Cost saving, Customer services, Data Integrity, process improvement and safety & statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

1.Collecting invoices from the container arrived on rake and update invoice details in system.
2.Updating containers details (HC/GP, SA/EO) in system
3.Making bunch of documents (Gate Pass, Invoice Print) for night dispatch for factory destuffing.
4.Preparation of dispatch report and sharing the same with all concerns.
5.Preparation of empty arrival details and sharing the same with all concerns.
6.Supervision of domestic rake loading as per pre-defined specifications.
7.Ensuring that surveyor will prepare tally sheet of rake and all seal numbers should be written against each container.
8.Coordination with parties and arranging vehicle for ICD destuffing of containers.
9.Maintaining laden & empty inventory of DSO containers and daily sharing with all concerns.
10.Confirming timely delivery at destinations and do necessarily follow up, manage escalations, also, extend support in coordination/ tracking of shipments with transporters, possess adequate knowledge of road permits/ waybills.
11.Involved in updating of inbound train summaries and plan inbound containers for offloading from the train.
12.Creating Bookings and Updating of Inbound and Outbound details of trains in Elogisol /RMS.
13.To ensure smooth & efficient information system for daily & monthly reports.

Education qualification

Candidate should have graduation completed with relevant experience.
