Job Description
Primary Objectives of Position:
Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of talent management, succession planning, leadership development and career development initiatives to strengthen SBS Transit Group's leadership pipeline and build future-ready capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management, Succession Planning and Development
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of talent management and succession planning frameworks to strengthen the organisation's leadership pipeline.Coordinate and support annual talent review and succession planning exercises across the organisation.Coordinate and administer talent development interventions, including leadership programmes, structured job rotations, coaching, mentoring, and other developmental opportunities.Maintain accurate talent data and monitor development outcomes
Early Career Talent & Scholar Development
Upon commencement of scholars employment, serve as their key point of contact throughout their bond period, providing guidance on role placement, rotations, and career aspirations.Develop and implement frameworks and developmental pathways for scholars and early career talent, including mentoring, learning opportunities, and career interventions, to nurture them as part of the organisation's future leadership pipeline.Maintain holistic talent profiles for scholars and early career talent, capturing developmental experiences, strengths, aspirations, leadership potential, and progression milestones.Monitor the development, engagement, and progression of scholars and early career talent, and provide insights to support talent reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning discussions.
Career Development
Partner business leaders, mentors, and stakeholders to ensure Individual Development Plans (IDPs) are in place, facilitate meaningful developmental experiences, and support career conversations where required.Support the development and implementation of career development frameworks, career pathways and career planning initiatives.Partner stakeholders to communicate career opportunities and development resources to employees.Facilitate career conversations and development planning processes where required.
Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement
Partner HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify talent development needs and recommend appropriate interventions.Support the review and enhancement of talent management policies, frameworks and processes.Conduct research on emerging talent management and leadership development practices and recommend improvements.
Requirements
Degree in any discipline in a recognised University, background in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Psychology would be advantageous.2–5 years of relevant experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development and Organisational Development.Experience supporting talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development or career development initiatives will be advantageous.Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SuccessFactorsSelf-driven, organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Resourceful and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
