We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior Executive – Social Media Marketing to lead our social media presence and strengthen our brand across digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of developing successful social media strategies, managing end-to-end content execution, leading influencer collaborations, and driving audience engagement through data-driven campaigns.
This role requires someone who can think strategically, execute creatively, and deliver measurable business impact through social media.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives.
- Create quarterly and monthly social media roadmaps to drive brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
- Define platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behaviour, and platform algorithm changes to continuously optimize strategy.
Content Planning & Creative Direction
- Lead the planning and execution of monthly content calendars.
- Conceptualize high-performing content including Reels, short-form videos, static creatives, carousels, stories, blogs, and user-generated content.
- Work closely with designers, videographers, photographers, copywriters, and agencies to produce engaging and high-quality content.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
Campaign Management
- Plan and execute product launches, festive campaigns, brand campaigns, and promotional activities across social media platforms.
- Develop creative campaign concepts to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely campaign execution.
Community Management
- Build and nurture an engaged online community.
- Monitor customer interactions across social media platforms and ensure timely responses to comments, messages, and reviews.
- Handle social media escalations while maintaining a positive brand image.
Influencer & Brand Partnerships
- Identify, onboard, and manage influencers, creators, affiliates, and brand partners.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and campaign deliverables.
- Track influencer performance and measure ROI.
- Build long-term partnerships that align with the company's brand values.
Performance Analytics
- Monitor campaign performance using Meta Insights, Google Analytics, and other analytics platforms.
- Analyse engagement, reach, impressions, audience growth, website traffic, and conversions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations.
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance metrics.
Paid Social Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Performance Marketing team to support paid social campaigns.
- Provide creative inputs for ad campaigns to maximize campaign effectiveness.
- Evaluate paid campaign performance and recommend improvements.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Creative, Product, Sales, E-commerce, and Customer Support teams.
- Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers whenever required.
- Mentor junior social media executives and guide them on content planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Visual Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Content Marketing.
- Proven experience managing social media for consumer brands, preferably in D2C, FMCG, Health & Wellness or Nutrition industries.
- Basic understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising.
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of AI-powered content creation and social media tools is an added advantage.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and measurable business outcomes.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and emerging platforms.
- Expertise in content strategy, storytelling, and brand communication.
- Experience with influencer marketing and creator partnerships.
- Hands-on experience with social media management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar.
- Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, or Adobe Express.
- Strong copywriting and content editing skills.
- Knowledge of social media analytics, Google Analytics, and campaign reporting.
