The company has developed BookMyShow Stream, India's largest home-grown transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) platform.

Your Profile

SEO Strategy, Research & Keyword Planning

  • Define annual and quarterly SEO Performance KPIs across Movies, Live Events (LE), BAU, Seasonal and On-going categories, with clear goals for organic visibility, ranking improvement and coverage.
  • Build and maintain the keyword universe with theme-led tracking; map opportunities across transactional, informational and regional intent.
  • Track rankings on a weekly cadence via relevant SEO and rank-tracking tools; analyse drops and opportunities, defining corrective actions with a category-led strategy.
  • Drive continuous optimization for organic visibility and ranking stability, including on-going and event-led SEO for key releases and marquee properties. Support App Store Optimization (ASO) initiatives as part of the overall organic growth charter.

AEO - AI Visibility, Prompt Research & Tracking

  • Own the AEO strategy by defining tracked prompts, keywords, Share of Voice, and brand/domain citation coverage across key categories.
  • Monitor and analyze AI search performance across answer engines and Google AI Overviews/AI Mode, delivering weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual insights on brand visibility and opportunities.
  • Setup and manage AI visibility tracking tools, ensuring optimal platform, region, language, and prompt coverage.
  • Map prompts to user intent, journey stages, and target landing pages, identifying optimization opportunities and benchmarking against competitors.
  • Measure and report Share of Voice, citations, answer prominence, sentiment, and historical trends, while analyzing the sources and content influencing AI-generated answers.
  • Monitor for misinformation or incorrect brand facts in AI answers and drive a rapid correction workflow.

Content Optimization (SEO, AEO & ASO)

  • Own end-to-end content optimization across SEO, AEO and ASO surfaces — covering content structuring, FAQs, meta titles and descriptions, recommended HTML tags and heading hierarchy, and readability for both users and AI systems.
  • Plan and QA content requirements for priority pages and categories, ensuring every page is optimized for search rankings, AI citability and app-store discoverability.
  • Continuously refine content based on performance insights from tracked keywords and prompts, improving CTR, engagement and citability.

On-Page & Technical SEO

  • Run and continuously refine technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, rendering (including server-side rendering), sitemaps, site speed / Core Web Vitals, duplication, canonicals and internal linking — converting findings into a tracked, prioritised fix plan.
  • Implement and maintain structured data (schema) across page templates, and keep the platform AI/LLM-ready so content is discoverable and accurately picked up by search engines and answer engines alike.
  • Drive enhancements to internal SEO systems and CMS capabilities that make optimization scalable across categories, cities and page types.
  • QA all optimizations in pre-prod and production, and monitor post-implementation impact.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Build monthly and quarterly SEO/AEO roadmaps , priortize initiatives and collaborate closely with product, engineering, content, design, brand and marketing to deliver organic growth.
  • Provide SEO QA support for major releases and high-impact campaigns.
  • Run weekly standups with internal and external stakeholders — product, engineering and content teams internally, and tool and content agencies externally — managing prompt-universe changes, link-development recommendations and reporting cadence.
  • Collaborate with the Paid Media team on SEM keyword research; plan and execute international SEO covering keyword strategy, content localisation and technical readiness.

Reporting & Governance

  • Publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on rankings, AI visibility, Share of Voice, citations, SERP performance, and business impact.
  • Deliver prompt-level insights, monitor Search Console enhancements and rich results, and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor rich-result eligibility, search console enhancement reports, SERP feature pickup and error regressions.

Your Checklist

  • 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (brand or agency side), with demonstrated success planning and executing organic strategy at scale; exposure to AEO / AI-search optimization is a strong advantage.
  • Strong expertise in Technical SEO (crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema, SSR, robots.txt, sitemaps, canonicals) and working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Proficient with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, AI search/visibility tools, and AEO/AI Search Optimization.
  • Experience in Digital PR, link building, ASO (Play Store & App Store), international SEO, content localization, and CMS platforms.
  • Skilled in AI-driven automation, SEO reporting, dashboards, keyword/prompt research, BRDs, project management, and collaborating with engineering, product, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of modern SEO, LLMs, answer engines, and content optimization for both users and AI.
