Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Senior Executive Procurement (BOS Contracting) with at least 1 year of experience in Balance of System (BOS) contracting. The role involves vendor management, contract finalization and procurement of BOS components and services essential for solar EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of BOS items and services, including structures, cables, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, and civil/electrical works.
- Identify, evaluate and finalize vendors/subcontractors for BOS packages.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, comparative statements and purchase orders.
- Negotiate terms on cost, quality and timelines with vendors/contractors.
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to align procurement with project requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules and contract compliance.
- Maintain proper documentation and reports for procurement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in BOS contracting/procurement (solar industry experience preferred).
- Understanding of solar EPC procurement processes and project timelines.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with contract terms, billing, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office; exposure to ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
