Senior Executive - Procurement & Junior Executive

Utthunga is seeking two experienced Senior Executives - Procurement (with 5-8 years of experience, ideally in Electrical & Instrumentation - E&I background) to join our team. You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and fostering strong supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, for various goods and services.
• Ensure the timely acquisition of necessary goods and services, meeting project and operational deadlines.
• Source and identify new suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, quality standards, and pricing competitiveness.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings without compromising quality or delivery schedules.
• Maintain and enhance effective supplier relationships, fostering long-term partnerships.
• Optimize costs across the procurement lifecycle, identifying opportunities for efficiency and value addition.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical guidelines, and relevant regulations.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., engineering, project management, finance) to understand their needs and align procurement strategies.
• Process purchase orders, track shipments, and manage inventory levels where applicable.
• Resolve any supplier-related issues or discrepancies efficiently and professionally.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5-8 years in a procurement role, preferably with experience in the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) domain.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation), Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
