Key Responsibilities
- School & Solution Management
- Maintain a complete, current record of all schools and Anganwadi centres where digital learning solutions are deployed, including device counts, solution types, and key contacts.
- Conduct structured, regular field visits to verify that hardware, software, and content are functional, accessible, and being used by teachers and students.
- Identify and resolve or escalate technical and operational issues promptly, coordinating with the internal team and relevant contacts.
- Track the status of every assigned school against project milestones; flag deviations early and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure devices are charged, maintained, and accessible during school hours — working with school management to establish sustainable device-management routines.
- Driving Usage, Adoption & Learning Impact
- Execute the programme action plan to ensure that teachers and students are actively using digital learning solutions in line with defined usage and engagement targets.
- Work with school heads and teachers to integrate platform sessions into the official school timetable — and follow up regularly to confirm the timetable is being adhered to.
- Monitor usage data on a weekly basis; identify schools or classrooms with low adoption and implement targeted, personalised follow-up strategies.
- Drive improvement in learning outcomes by supporting teachers to use digital content in curriculum-aligned, pedagogically effective ways.
- Run structured recognition and motivation initiatives for teachers and students to sustain engagement beyond the initial onboarding period.
- Document and share credible evidence of usage and learning improvement — including baseline comparisons, engagement data, and qualitative stories — for internal reporting and client communication.
- Training & Capacity Building
- Design and deliver orientation, onboarding, and refresher training sessions for teachers, school coordinators, and Anganwadi workers on the effective use of digital learning tools.
- Provide continuous, hands-on support and handholding — especially in the first 30 days post-training — to build genuine confidence and independent usage.
- Verify training effectiveness through usage data; re-train or provide additional support where adoption has not taken hold within expected timelines.
- Create simple, accessible reference guides and FAQs in Hindi to support educators with low prior technology exposure.
- Identify and nurture champion teachers at each school who can serve as internal advocates and peer trainers for the programme.
- Stakeholder & Government Relationship Management
- Act as the primary liaison between iDream Education and all on-ground stakeholders — school principals, block and district education officers, Anganwadi supervisors, and community leaders.
- During every field visit, proactively identify and personally brief the relevant Block Education Officer (BEO) and District Education Officer (DEO) on programme activities in their jurisdiction; ensure they are added to ongoing communication channels.
- Build a structured network of government relationships that creates institutional awareness, goodwill, and support for the programme — enabling smooth operations and long-term credibility.
- Coordinate with the district administration on shared timelines, school-level priorities, and any changes in implementation scope.
- Handle sensitive situations — school leadership changes, government transfers, operational disruptions — with maturity and minimal escalation.
- Community Building & Teacher Engagement
- Create and actively manage a communication group (e.g. WhatsApp) for teachers at every assigned school — used for sharing content, resolving usage queries, celebrating milestones, and sustaining connection.
- Run consistent recognition programmes within teacher communities — acknowledging active usage, sharing student success stories, and maintaining motivation over the duration of the programme.
- Foster a culture of peer learning among educators by encouraging teachers to share best practices, lesson ideas, and platform tips within the community.
- Ensure the teacher community remains active and purposeful throughout the programme — not just during onboarding but as a sustained channel of support and engagement.
- Project Execution & Order Management
- Plan, track, and close every project deliverable on schedule — maintaining a clear task tracker that maps actions to timelines, owners, and status.
- Ensure clients and stakeholders receive proactive, structured communication at every stage of the project with no gaps in updates or documentation.
- Prepare and share weekly and monthly action plans that are aligned to project goals and reviewed against actual progress.
- Maintain readiness for internal reviews by keeping all records, visit logs, and status updates current at all times.
- Identify risks and dependencies early; escalate in time for solutions to be found — never surface problems at the point of failure.
- Data Management & Impact Reporting
- Maintain accurate, structured records of field visits, school-wise usage data, training sessions, issues raised and resolved, and government contacts — using G-Suite and MS Office tools.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports covering platform adoption, engagement metrics, training outcomes, government interactions, and qualitative impact for internal and client review.
- Capture baseline data at the start of every programme and track against it throughout — ensuring impact stories are grounded in evidence, not just anecdote.
- Collect photos, videos, testimonials, and case studies from the field to support reporting, communications, and organisational learning.
- Opportunity & Lead Identification
- Treat every field visit as an opportunity to map the broader ecosystem — identifying CSR partners, NGOs, foundations, or private organisations active in the same schools or geography.
- Capture qualified lead information — organisation name, contact person, nature of work, potential relevance — and share with the relevant internal team in a structured, timely manner.
- Build awareness of iDream's work among all stakeholders encountered during field visits — creating organic interest and a pipeline of future opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field operations, project implementation, or programme management in the education, EdTech, or social development sector.
- Prior experience working with government schools, Anganwadi systems, block/district education officials, or community-based programmes in UP / rural India.
- Strong communication skills in Hindi — spoken and written — with the ability to explain technology to low-literacy users clearly and patiently.
- Working proficiency in English for internal reporting, emails, and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-Suite for data tracking, reporting, and communication.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple schools, stakeholders, and workstreams simultaneously with discipline and accountability.
- Willingness and proven ability to travel extensively within the district on a daily basis; candidates must have their own two-wheeler or reliable means of local travel.
- Familiarity with the local geography, community dynamics, and government education ecosystem of Mahoba / Bundelkhand.
- Strong interpersonal skills — able to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders including teachers, officials, and community leaders.
- Data discipline — consistent in maintaining records, meeting reporting deadlines, and following through on every commitment.
Good to Have
- Experience in EdTech, digital content deployment, or ICT-in-education programmes.
- Knowledge of the Anganwadi and early childhood education practices.
- Experience running community or teacher engagement programmes, including recognition and motivation initiatives.
- Exposure to impact assessment frameworks, data visualisation tools, or monitoring and evaluation practices.
- Experience working on government-partnered or CSR-funded social sector projects.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms, tablet-based content delivery, or classroom technology.
Who Will Thrive In This Role
- You take full ownership. When something in your portfolio isn't working, you don't wait to be asked — you identify it, flag it, and fix it.
- You are proactive, not reactive. You anticipate problems, surface them early, and come with solutions rather than just concerns.
- You build real relationships. Teachers, school heads, and government officials are not just contacts in a spreadsheet — you know them, they trust you, and they pick up when you call.
- You are disciplined with data. Your records are accurate, your reports are on time, and your documentation is something others can rely on.
- You are a natural communicator in Hindi who can explain complex technology simply, motivate sceptical teachers, and hold a meeting with a district official with equal ease.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and field realities — power cuts, school schedule changes, last-minute government visits — and you adapt without losing momentum.
- You are genuinely passionate about education and believe that technology, used well, can meaningfully improve learning outcomes for children who have the fewest resources.
Additional Information
- This is a full-time, field-intensive role. The majority of working hours will be spent visiting schools and community centres — not at a desk.
- Travel within Mahoba District is mandatory based on the assignment and requirements . Candidates must have their own two-wheeler or reliable means of local transport.
- Engagement is regular with the possibility of extension based on performance and project continuation.
- Candidates currently based in or originating from Mahoba or nearby districts (Banda, Chhatarpur, Jhansi) are strongly preferred for their local knowledge, community familiarity, and logistical ease.
- The role demands high personal accountability. You are expected to own the success of the programme in your assigned geography as if it were your own.
