Key Responsibilities

• Business Requirement Gathering:
• Interact with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for trading platforms, back-office systems, and client interfaces.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and process flow diagrams.
• Process Analysis & Improvement:
• Analyze existing workflows in broking operations (account opening, order management, settlements, risk management).
• Identify gaps and recommend automation or efficiency improvements.
• Project Management Support:
• Collaborate with IT, product, and vendor teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare status reports for senior management.
• Testing & Implementation:
• Prepare UAT (User Acceptance Test) cases and perform testing of trading platforms, RMS, OMS, and mobile/web applications.
• Ensure smooth rollout of new systems and features with minimal operational disruption.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Use data to identify business trends, client behavior, and trading patterns to support decision-making.
• Develop MIS reports and dashboards for management.
• Regulatory & Compliance Coordination:
• Work with compliance teams to ensure SEBI and exchange-related norms are incorporated in business processes and systems.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Act as a bridge between business users, technology, and vendors.
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of stock broking operations, trading systems (NSE/BSE), RMS, and back-office processes.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, data analysis, and business documentation.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau (preferred).
• Knowledge of UAT processes, SDLC, and Agile methodology.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Graduate in Commerce/Finance/Engineering; MBA/PGDM in Finance, IT, or Operations preferred.
• Experience: 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in stock broking, capital markets, or financial services domain.
• Certifications (Preferred): NCFM / NISM Series Certifications, Agile BA certification.
