Job Description

Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Executive – Logistics to manage

end-to-end first mile and last mile operations.

The role will be responsible for ensuring timely pickups, efficient dispatch planning, transporter

coordination, delivery performance, cost optimization, and maintaining high service levels across

B2B and D2C logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

First Mile Operations:

- Manage daily pickup planning and execution from warehouses/fulfillment centers.

- Coordinate with transport partners to ensure timely vehicle placement and pickups.

- Monitor order readiness, dispatch timelines, and shipment handover processes.

- Work closely with warehouse teams to minimize dispatch delays.

Last Mile Delivery Operations:

- Monitor end-to-end delivery performance across logistics partners.

- Ensure timely deliveries for B2B customers, marketplaces, distributors, and D2C orders.

- Track TAT adherence and resolve operational escalations.

- Reduce delivery failures, RTOs, delays, and customer complaints.

Transporter & Vendor Management:

- Manage courier, PTL/FTL, and local transport partners.

- Review transporter performance including pickup SLA, delivery TAT, damages, and service levels.

- Support onboarding and evaluation of logistics partners.

- Support cost improvement initiatives.

Tracking & MIS Management:

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.

- Maintain shipment trackers, pending dispatch reports, aging reports, and delivery dashboards.

- Analyze logistics data to identify gaps.

- Ensure accurate documentation including POD, invoices, appointment details, and shipment

records.

Process Improvement:

- Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions.

- Improve dispatch efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

- Support automation and process enhancement initiatives.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of first mile and last mile logistics operations.

- Experience in B2B, marketplace, and D2C supply chain operations.

- Understanding of courier, PTL, and FTL movements.

- Strong vendor coordination and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualification & Experience:

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.

- 3–5 years of experience in logistics operations preferred.
